OK, OK . . . it’s NOT a muscle car . . . but every muscle car has to have an older brother, doesn’t it?
This is exactly the same model I drove to Madison-Grant High School (Fairmount, Indiana) 1969-1971. It was this non-muscle car that allowed me to prove to our mother that Darrell and I were capable to drive a motor vehicle and not kill ourselves . . .
thereby allowing him to have his first Mach 1 a few years later!

My original ’62 had a 200 c.u. straight six from a ’68 Mustang in it, and a three speed on the column. This one has the original 170 c.u. straight six, 2 speed automatic, the buckets and console.

I met my wife in my original ’62, so her memories of it are almost as good as mine. In fact, she’s the one who found this one for us and bought it for my birthday a few years ago. It’s part of the family now, Just like I am Darrell’s older brother, my Falcon is the older brother to his Mustang(s)!
